Don’t miss this rare opportunity to learn from members of Beyonce’s band! An all-girl power trio of teachers will push you to achieve new heights in your craft while learning the music of the Queen of pop, Beyonce. Our faculty includes musicians from Beyoncé’s all girl band: drummer Nikki Glaspie, bassist Divinity Roxx, and saxophonist Kat Rodriguez. These amazing ladies will be joined by YAA’s own guru of guitar Dave Fabris! Participants will be learning theory, ear training and style, as well as working on stage presence and mic technique. Students will sing and play with the artists at a band jam at the end of every day. 

Broadway Show Intensive

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be in a Broadway show? Now is your chance to learn from Broadway professionals! Our one day intensive will be led by company members directly from The Lion King on Broadway. In four action-packed hours you will learn Lion King material from a music director, an actor and dance captain from Disney’s blockbuster, The Lion King. Aside from invaluable professional training, these guest artists will share behind the scenes stories about a career on Broadway, and what it takes to get there. This exciting day will culminate in a full group presentation for friends and family!

Broadway Bound – Musical Theater Camp

Give us a week and we’ll put on a show! Are you ready to dive in and take the stage? Each week campers will explore a different theme and dig deep into the theater repertoire. Camp will be spent focusing on proper singing techniques, acting exercises and scene work. Students will also be exposed to opportunities in lighting, costumes, props and stage direction. A camp performance will take place on the last day of each week, showcasing the scenes and songs that the campers learned during the week.

*Students can sign up for 1 or 2 weeks. Different repertoire and theme each week.
